	Hokuriku Research Center was established as one organization in NARC, NARO on April 1, 2001 by reorganization of the former Hokuriku Agricultural Experiment Station founded in 1944.
・	Mission
	Hokuriku Research Center carries out research to innovate the crop production and leading investigations for the development of agricultural technologies suited to Hokuriku regions.

	1)	Integrated research for the development of low input paddy management systems in Hokuriku region.
	2)	Research for effective use of heavy-clay soil lowland in Hokuriku region.
